Live entertainment is one of the many things that has been changed by the coronavirus pandemic, as so many of our favorite artists have had to postpone upcoming tours and concerts. Even if it is for the best, it’s still a disappointment to all of us, especially the performers.

Fortunately, social-distancing doesn’t have to mean social isolation, and many bands are taking to various sites and social media platforms to stream their live shows. Artists are staying busy by hosting weekly, or even daily, live streams. We’ve rounded up a few of these artists who believe, even in the face of a global pandemic, the show must go on.

Benjamin Gibbard

The indie stalwart and Death Cab for Cutie frontman has been hosting a daily live stream from his home. Expect to hear renditions of classic songs from his catalog as well as various covers of current and past pop hits. Each concert benefits a charity and he takes fan requests. Win-win! You can tune in on YouTube and Facebook at 7 p.m. ET daily.

Diplo

EDM music hasn’t skipped a beat (pun intended) during this season of social distancing, and Diplo is no exception. He’s been hosting his “Corona World Tour” five days a week, featuring various guests and his unique remixes of popular songs. There’s no better soundtrack for your self-quarantine. Check it out on YouTube, Twitch and Instagram every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Miley Cyrus

For a more eclectic experience, head to Instagram to hear Miley check in with various artists and celebrities. These casual conversations have covered any number of topics, and tend to veer off in just about any direction—it’s a much-needed distraction. Guests have included Demi Lovato, Amy Schumer, Ellen Degeneres and more. To see what Miley and friends are up to, tune in Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. PT.

La Blogothèque

For years, the filmmakers at La Blogothèque have made a name for themselves with their Take Away Shows, capturing beautiful, yet sparse live renditions of popular artists’ work. For our current climate, they’ve reimagined their videos for Instagram as Stay Away Shows (get it?).  Check in every day at 2 p.m. ET to see special performances from your favorite artists.

Waxahatchee and Kevin Morby

Katie Crutchfield, aka Waxahatchee, and Kevin Morby have been busy on social media, providing intimate concerts that pair particularly well with an in-home evening cocktail. Their March 19 live stream was very well attended and they are planning another March 26. Get your mixers ready and head to Instagram at 9 p.m. ET for a special performance from two of today’s most essential indie artists.

Honey Harper

Releasing his debut, Starmaker, earlier this year, Honey Harper introduced us to his unique blend of country, new-age and soft-rock. He’s stayed very active on social media during the outbreak, playing two songs at 3 p.m. ET every day on Instagram and YouTube. If you’re not yet familiar with his work, tune in and prepare to be wooed.

Christine and the Queens

Look to Christine and the Queens’ Instagram page every day at 6 p.m. ET for what we can only describe as “the unexpected.” The theatrical, electro-pop icon has promised guests and weird concepts nightly. We’ll be looking forward to this all day.

It’s up to all of us to stay safe, and sane, during this unprecedented outbreak. You may not realize it, but music has an incredible power to lift our spirits and add some much-needed distractions during a stressful time. We can’t think of a better way to ride this thing out with a good, strong drink and some even better music. Stay safe out there and keep up to date with the latest developments at Attendee.
